Tunnel runs. Confetti cannons. Championship rings and MVP chains. Flag football for kids ages 5–17, and the best game-day experience in Central Florida is coming to Deltona.
Boys and girls ages 5–17, across five divisions: U6, U8, U10, U13, and U17. Kids compete against similar ages, sizes, and skill levels. First-timers and experienced tackle players both fit right in. Divisions are set by your child's age on January 1 of the season year.
Practices are weekday evenings and begin the week of October 6, giving three full practice weeks before the first game. Games are Saturday mornings starting October 24, with no game Thanksgiving weekend. Eight games total, and the season wraps December 19, done before Christmas.
Your registration covers the full eight-game season, a custom uniform (a jersey with your child's name on the back plus matching shorts), their own set of flags, and every game-day event of the season.
Full refund any time before registration closes October 1. A 50% refund is available before October 13. After October 13, registrations are non-refundable. Registrations received after October 1 are non-refundable. If the league cancels a division or the season, every affected family receives a full refund.
Just cleats, a mouth guard, and water. We provide flags and game balls. No pads or helmets needed.
Flag football removes tackling: defenders pull a flag instead of bringing players to the ground. Kids still compete hard and play real football, but without the collisions of tackle. It's the fastest-growing youth sport in America and the format joining the Olympics in 2028.
Girls flag is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. Florida high schools sanction it as a varsity sport, college programs now offer flag football scholarships, and women's flag football debuts in the 2028 Olympics. Girls who start now are ahead of a wave that is only getting bigger.
Keep playing after your season ends. Flag sharpens route running, coverage, and football IQ in the off-season. Many of our players play tackle in fall and flag with us to stay in football year-round.
Last season, Mad Dogs quietly covered over $5,000 in registrations for families who couldn't afford them. This season, that program has a name: the Hungry Dogs Fund.
Funds are limited, so awards are first come, first served. Applications are processed in the order they are received, and every application is handled privately. If cost is standing between your kid and the field, email us early.
